The Pedestal.

The symphony broke
The crash, disrupted.
Too high, too long it had stood
The questions didn't reach.
Too many, too soon had rested,
The love was lost, everyone a leech.
The chain brough em together
But wrangled their necks,
A lifetime of role plays
The captain never came down to the deck.
Now when the dust settled
Hands held under an equal sky
Not just could they listen,
But the Eyes had never seen so clear.
